TotalEnergies designs and markets a broad array of refined products, including automotive fuel and specialty products. In China, we aim to rapidly expand our retail network by working with Sinochem and pursuing a growth strategy based on convenience, service and product quality.

Accessible Network for Each Customer

TotalEnergies is working together with Sinochem to build and operate two retail networks. Total-Sinochem Fuels Co., Ltd. (TSF), covering Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning and Hebei provinces in northern China, plan to build and operate 200 service stations, while Total-Sinochem Oil Co., Ltd. (TSO), serving Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces in eastern China, plan to build and operate 300 service stations. TotalEnergies Marketing Hubei also has a goal of constructing and operating 30 service stations in Wuhan. In 2021, TotalEnergies was operating more than 350 service stations in China.

Rapid Growth of Lubricant Business

TotalEnergies has been a major supplier of lubricants in China, marketed under two leading brands: TOTAL and ELF. We provide a full range of diversified lubricant products for the automotive, industrial and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) markets. TotalEnergies also serves China’s shipping industry with marine lubricants.

In January 2015, we laid a foundation for future growth by integrating our three Chinese businesses into one---Total Lubricants China (TLC). TotalEnergies' close relationship with our Chinese partners was demonstrated by COSCO Shipping Company Ltd. And Guangzhou Development District Commercial Development Group Co., Ltd. both purchasing stakes in the integrated TLC.
