TotalEnergies participated in the 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade

From September 8^th to 11^th, the 25^th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) was grandly held at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center in Fujian Province.

Hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, CIFIT is one of the most influential international investment events in the world. It has committed to constructing a platform of bilateral investment promotion, authoritative information release and investment trend discussion. With a permanent theme of "Further expanding bilateral investment, jointly facilitating global development", this year's CIFIT focused on three main areas: "Invest in China", "Chinese Investment", and "International Investment".

The "Green China" themed area focused on areas such as new energy, green and low-carbon development, and agro-food. It aimed to efficiently gather and integrate resources, thereby building a professional platform for investors and investment seekers to enhance industrial matchmaking, explore market potential and investment opportunities, and facilitate high-quality development and international cooperation in the green industry.

• On September 8, at the "Invest in Fujian" Major Project Concentrated Signing Ceremony during CIFIT, TotalEnergies and ITG Holding Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will carry out in-depth strategic cooperation in the industrial chain and supply chain fields such as clean energy, functional materials, and petrochemicals to achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages. They will also strengthen coordination in policy alignment, supply chain collaboration, and market expansion, and jointly build an industrial cluster with international influence.

• On September 9, Leaders from the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province held a meeting with TotalEnergies. Relevant leaders including Cui Hongguang, Deputy Director General of the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, Cao Guoping, Director of the Division of European and American Affairs, Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, and Jin Xiaofeng, Director of the Shandong Provincial Center for International Investment Promotion, held in-depth discussions with Ms. Sophia YI and Dr. Xu Zhonghua, Vice Presidents of TotalEnergies China, on the development trends, challenges, and future cooperation opportunities of renewable energy in Shandong Province.

• TotalEnergies participated in a thematic event, which was hosted by the Green Energy Working Group of the Investment Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce and MNC50. This forum invited multinational energy enterprises in a targeted manner, focused on the status, opportunities, and challenges of investment in China under the "dual carbon" goals, and conducted in-depth discussions on the new paths and new trends in the development of the green energy industry.

• As an expert representative, Dr. Xu Zhonghua, Vice President of TotalEnergies China, participated in forums including "Investing in the Future of Energy", "ESG and Sustainable Industry Development Innovation Forum", and "Green Economy and Industrialization: Breaking Technical Barriers - Linking the Circular Future". He conducted fruitful dialogues and exchanges with representatives of participating institutions on relevant topics, and shared TotalEnergies' sustainable development strategy and innovation, as well as its vision of deeply rooted in China and actively developing low-carbon green energy.
